About Me

Hi, I'm Stephen, a full-stack software developer.

I love software development's culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement. I get excited about its potential to bring ideas from concept to reality with minimal resources.

I value making applications that are accessible. For end-users I seek to improve an application's utility so users will feel compelled to share their experience with friends. For other programmers, I seek to leave a legacy of clean, human-readable code.

I have worked in entrepreneurial environments as a project manager, product manager, and team leader. In 2022 I completed a five-month bootcamp for Advanced Software Development in Full-Stack JavaScript. Some of the technologies that I've been working with recently include:

Built with Supabase for postgres Database, authentication/authorization, and real-time chat capabilities, Material UI component library, Next.js, React, Vercel, and Cypress.

A tech-jobs Amazon Alexa skill that emails users current job listings, and quizzes users with interview questions and coding problems.

Built with AWS S3, Lambda, SNS, and Alexa Developer Console.

TravelBytes

A travel app that accesses multiple APIs, displays filtered data to the user, and allows a user to add and edit notes.

Built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Bootstrap, MongoDB, Mongoose, and Axios.
